CONVENIENCE FEES

The following convenience fees will be charged for online payments:
e-Checks
	$0-$125,000.00	$1.80 flat fee
	$125,000.01-$150,000	$4.00 flat fee
	$150,000.01-$175,000	$7.00 flat fee
	$175,000.01-$250,000	$10.00 flat fee
Debit Card		$4.00 flat fee
Credit Card/Non-Visa Debit Card		2.4% of payment amount
	(Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express)

State law requires convenience fees to be charged to the taxpayers who choose to make online debit/credit card payments for property taxes (M.S. 276.02). These fees are not retained by Wright County, but rather are paid to a third-party vendor to cover the costs associated with payment services.
